After 20 years as an editorial designer, Canadian graphic designer Marianne Bantjes decided to go freelance some four years ago. Her images – ink or pencil embroideries that are packed with shapes, colours and detailing – compel the viewer to further explore their complexity. She collaborates with some of today’s leading graphic designers, such as Stefan Sagmeister and Michael Bierut (Pentagram).
